Trauma-Informed Guidance
Deep Work for Deeply Human Relationships
Not all patterns are logical.
Not all relationship challenges are about the relationship.
Sometimes, what’s getting stirred up in your open or polyamorous relationship isn’t really about your partner(s). It’s about you—your nervous system, your history, your unmet needs, your unspoken grief, your longing to feel safe and whole.
That’s why I bring a trauma-informed lens to every coaching session.
Because real transformation doesn’t come from bypassing your pain or pushing past your discomfort. It comes from meeting yourself with curiosity, compassion, and care.
My Approach: Rooted in Presence, Honoring All Parts
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
We all have “parts”—the protective ones, the wounded ones, the ones who long for love but fear rejection. IFS helps us get to know these parts and relate to them with compassion, rather than shame or blame. It’s a powerful path to inner harmony—and more ease in your external relationships.
Somatic Experiencing (SE)
Your body holds the story. From subtle flinches to full-blown shutdowns, your nervous system speaks volumes about your lived experience. Somatic work gently helps you track these signals and restore a sense of safety in your body—so you can show up with more presence, clarity, and groundedness in your relationships.
Compassionate Inquiry
Developed by Dr. Gabor Maté, Compassionate Inquiry uncovers the unconscious patterns that drive behavior—especially the ones formed in response to early wounding. Through gentle, attuned questions, we explore what’s beneath the surface, helping you reconnect with your authentic self.
Plant Medicine Ceremony
In select private immersion work (and always with intention, consent, and ethical care), I also offer integration support for those walking the path of sacred plant medicines. These experiences can bring buried emotions to light, expand your perspective, and catalyze deep shifts—but they can also destabilize if not properly integrated. I help you anchor the insights, soften the impact, and translate the journey into grounded action.
Why It Matters in Polyamory (and Life)
They ask us to hold multiple truths, stretch our capacity, face our shadows, and choose love over fear—again and again.
If you’ve experienced trauma (and let’s be real, most of us have), that kind of emotional exposure can be overwhelming. Jealousy, fear of abandonment, control patterns, shutdown, over-giving… these aren’t character flaws. They’re trauma responses. And they deserve to be held with care, not shame.
That’s what trauma-informed coaching offers:
where all of you
is welcome.
that honors your
pace.
